Experienced Los Angeles Comedian and Performer Edgar Momplaisir
Edgar Momplaisir is a comedian, writer, and performer raised in New York City and now based in Los Angeles. He’s performed on numerous shows such as with the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) team LeRoy, as well as the mainstage UCB show ASSSSCAT. In addition to writing and directing short films, Edgar Momplaisir has a producer on the television show Star Trek: Lower Decks, supervising producer on Everybody Still Hates Chris, and consulting producer on Send Help. He also wrote on the ABC sitcom Blackish and for the Netflix program Dear White People.
Edgar Momplaisir has managed his own production company, Los Negritos, since 2018, the same year he received a Sundance New Voices Lab Fellowship. He has contributed writing to multiple programs for Paramount Plus, Netflix, Comedy Central, and other media sources. In addition to his work in improv and television writing, he enjoys various music and film genres. He also enjoys following New York City sports, including the Knicks and Yankees.
